The flooding of Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2016 was described by the governor as a  “historic, unprecedented … event” – with over 20 inches of rainfall; stranding tens of thousands of people. There were approximately 146,000 homes damaged in the flood, making it the worst US disaster since Hurricane Sandy. After the flood, the Midsouth Mold team was on the scene to renovate over 45 houses in the area – giving the house a second chance, and a family a quality, refurbished home. Working within the guidelines for each Parish as well as FEMA restoration guidelines our trained and qualified professional ensured compliance with local floodplain management ordinances and complete all jobs to the standards above and beyond the expectations of the local permit inspectors.
